Ada Marie Covington, age 91, passed away peacefully August 18, 2021. She joins her beloved late husband, Lee Graham Covington. Ada was born on August 27 ^th , 1929, in Boston, MA to the late John and Ada Skehan.

Ada was a wonderful mother and friend to all her children. Her greatest joy was in raising her family. She enjoyed dancing, countless hours boating and a good game of golf.  After the passing of her husband, she and her dear friend volunteered delivering Meals-on-Wheels to other seniors in her town.

Ada is predeceased by her sister, Grace Lane. She is survived by her daughters Jill Hamilton and her husband, Jon of York, ME Valerie St.Onge and her husband, Richard of Hyannis, MA and her son Wayne Covington of Eliot, ME. She was blessed with six grandchildren; Zack and his wife Amanda, Dan Hamilton, Melissa St.Onge, Nathan St.Onge and his wife Meredith, and Wayne and Lee Covington along with three great-grandchildren (Annie Hamilton and Saylor and Jett St.Onge) and many nieces and nephews.

There was so much to be admired about Ada, and to know her is to love her. She will be deeply missed.

The family would like to thank The Shaw House in Biddeford for the compassionate care given to her in these past years and Compassus Hospice in Scarborough for the comfort provided to Ada and her family.
