Palmero - Alberta S. Tapley, 96 years of age recently of Palmero, Me, passed away on Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 due to age.  Born on December 22nd, 1921 in Mars Hill, ME.  Daughter of George Clinton Smith and Dorothy Ellen.

She is survived by her siblings.  Constance Buckley of Leeds, ME.  Frances McCabe of Auburn, ME, Amber McCabe of Monmouth, ME, Ralph Smith and spouse Dorothy of Kittery, ME, Kenneth Smith and spouse Rita of Greene, ME.  Her children, Patricia Lawhorn and spouse James of Knox, IN, Doris Swift and spouse Gordon of Palmero, ME, Grant Jr and partner Silva Hayes of Mexico, ME, Joyce Wheeler and spouse James of Eliot, ME, Susan Tapley of South Bend IN.  She has 17 Nephews, 7 Nieces, 11 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Grant O. Tapley Sr., 6 siblings and 1 daughter.
