Andrew J. Gagnon, 92, died on June 10, 2025, in Langdon Place of Dover. He was born on February 1, 1933, in Somersworth, NH. The son of Henri and Clarida (Turgeon) Gagnon. Andy was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the US Army. He retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, where he was a pipefitter. He was a member of the American Legion Post #47 in Rollinsford, NH. He was survived by his wife of 68 years, Alice (Fortin) Gagnon. Daughters Sue Talon of North Berwick, ME, and Donna Hennelly of Somersworth, NH. Grandson, Scott Talon, wife Jasmine, and great-grandson Wesley. Grandson Sean Talon. Granddaughter Ashley Hennelly and great-granddaughter Jessica. We loved his joking, and he was good at it. He loved golf and helping his family. His wife loved him with all her heart and will never forget him. Their 68 years were very happy one,s and she will always remember them. He was preceded in death by his eight brothers and five sisters. Donations may be made to Wentworth Hospice.
