Eliot- Anita G. Nelson- 78 of Overlook Masonic Health Care in Charlton, MA died on March 11, 2015 at her home in Charlton. Born on April 19, 1936 in Boston, MA she was a daughter of the late Eric and Wilma M. Gross. Anita was a retired Laboratory Technician who worked at two Boston Hospitals during her career. On June 15, 1957 she married her loving husband Robert Nelson and together they made their home in various locations including Newton, Tewksbury and Framingham, MA, Montpielier, VT and upon retirement made their home in Eliot for many years. While living in Eliot Anita enjyoyed her flower gardens, volunteering at York Hospital and at the William Fogg Library. She and her husband enjoyed many trips including celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in Munich Germany. She dearly loved her family especially her grandson Adam Rice whom she adored. She is survived by her husband Robert Nelson on Charlton,MA, daughter Cheryl and her husband Norman Rice of Milford, NH and her grandson Adam. A funeral will be celebrated at her church, the First Congregational Church of Eliot, UCC at 1361 State Road in Eliot, ME 03904 on Friday May 22, 2015 at 1pm.
