Dover – Anna C. Couture, 93, formerly of Somersworth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at St. Ann Nursing Center in Dover.

She was born on May 20, 1923 in Dover, New Hampshire, a daughter of James F. and Annie M. (McDonald) Miller.

Anna was formerly employed at the former M&M Bakery in Dover and later at GE in Somersworth where she met her husband, Roland. She had also been employed as a Teacher's Aide at the former St. Martin School.

Anna was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Somersworth.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roland, and siblings, Gertrude Ross, Donald Miller and Melvin Miller.

Survivors include her children, Robert Couture and his, wife, Denise of Somersworth, Janet Smith of Sanford, ME and Alan Couture and his wife, Nancy of Dover; three grandchildren, Kristen Cottreau of Woburn, MA, Kendall Couture and Jacob Couture both of Dover; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
