Obituary

Kittery – Annie A. Webber, 93, of Kittery, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Hyder Hospice House in Dover.

She was born on September 19, 1923 in Dexter, Maine to Dalton and Sarah (Maddox) Franklin. Annie was a graduate of Traip Academy.

During World War II, Annie was employed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and in the 1960's to 1970's worked at the Rice Public Library.

Annie was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and the Kittery Historical and Naval Society.

She was predeceased by her husband, Delwyn T. Webber; brother, Loring Franklin and sister, Eleanor "Bebe" Dubruvsky.

Survivors include her two sons, Steven Webber and his wife, Patricia LaClair of Eliot and Gary P. Webber of Lakewood, NJ; a brother, Dalton Franklin, Jr and his wife, Nikki of York; a sister, Elaine Tacy and her husband, Larry of Kittery; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: A time of visitation will be held from 4-6PM on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the J. S. Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Road, Kittery. A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 60 Government St, Kittery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 60 Government St, Kittery, ME 03904 or to the charity of one's choice.
