KITTERY, Maine - Anthony Michael Santos, 58 of State Road in Kittery, died on March 22, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Portsmouth, N.H. on August 16, 1956, he was a son of the late Anthony and Jean (McInnis) Santos. Anthony was raised and attended schools in Eliot, graduating from Marshwood High School with the Class of 1974. Anthony proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy and as a reservist for a number of years following his discharge. He was a lifelong union construction worker, working on many notable projects throughout New England including the Leonard Zakim Bridge which frames the Boston Skyline, the Memorial Bridge between Portsmouth and Kittery was his most recent project and one of his proudest. Tony's first love was unquestionably his family, time spent with his children and grandchildren were some of his favorite times. He loved his pets including his dogs Riley and Lacey, and loved music. He is survived by his loving wife Tamiko ( Yamashiro ) Santos of Kittery, his children; Anthony, James , Stacey and Alicia, many beloved grandchildren, brothers Frank and his wife Andrea and Joe Santos. He was predeceased by his loving parents, and his sister Vickie. A period of visitation and sharing will be celebrated on April 4, 2015, from 12-4 p.m. at the Rollinsford American Legion Post in Rollinsford, N.H.
