Barbara Doucette, formally of New Hampshire and Maine passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday July 19th, 2019. She was born on Friday September 13th, 1935 to John and Sarah Sloan in Liverpool England and was 1 of 5 children.

Barbara emigrated to America with her husband Leslie Howard in the 80's and settled on the East Coast until she moved to Chicago to be cared for by her daughter. She is survived by her loving family, her husband and companion John Doucette, Daughter Barbara Robie, Daughter Lesley Hanslope and husband Ian and Son Andrew Howard and daughter In-Law Racine. Barbara was a grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Her greatest role in life was being a sister, mother and grandmother to those she loved.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at JS Pelkey & Son Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Road, Kittery, Maine, on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
