Kittery- Barbara Ann Littlefield, 87 formerly of 143 Rogers Road Kittery Maine, died on October 4, 2024 at Cornerstone at Hampton where she had made her home for the last year.
Born in Lynn Massachusetts on September 25, 1937 a daughter of the late Frederick L. And Bettina B. ( Brown) Moulton. She attended Reading Schools including graduating from Reading High School with the class of 1955. She graduated from Gorham Teachers College in 1959.
In 1962 Barbara married her loving husband John Littlefield and together they traveled to his duty stations with the United States Military, settling on Folcutt Road in Kittery point where they made their home for many years.
Barbara enjoyed a long career shaping many young lives as a beloved third grade teacher at the Wentworth Dennett School in Kitttery.
She along with her sister treasured their lifetime membership in Chapter 1- PEO and were active in their events and programs for many years.
After her husband John passed in 2006 she made her home and was a foundation resident of the " White House" at Meetinghouse Village, she enjoyed her home and making so many others feel welcome as they joined the close knit community.
Barbara is survived by her beloved sister Catherine Moulton of Hampton, a brother Ted Moulton of Seabrook, dear friend Noreen Powers and many friends and neighbors at Meetinghouse Village.
A graveside service will be celebrated on Thursday October 17th at 2pm in the First Parish Cemetery 180 York Street York Maine 03909.
