Kittery- Barbara M. McIntyre, 87 of Spinney Way died on April 12, 2015 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Orland Maine on September 17, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Ira and Florence ( Halloway ) Conary. She attended local schools, graduating from Bucksport High School with the class of 1943. She and her husband John S. McIntyre made there home in Kittery, she worked at Data General for many years. Barbara worked for over fourteen and a half years at the Chase home in Portsmouth where she had many wonderful memories. Barbara was an active member of her church the Connect Community Church, enjoying time spent working at the thrift store for many years and was active in the "Keenagers" group for mature members. She is survived by her loving family; daughter Brenda Davis of Old Town, ME, sons; Vincent and his wife Linda McIntyre of Kundeskeg, ME, John jr and his wife Tina McIntyre of Kittery and Richard and his wife Darlene of Kittery, sisters Avis Seymore of Bangor and Betty Hawks of Hampstead, NH, many grand and great grand children, and neices and nephews. Friends may visit with Barbara's family on Saturday from1-2 pm in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery Maine 03904, where a funeral will be celebrated at 2 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to a memorial fund and sent to Richard McIntyre 24B Old Farm Lane Kittery Maine 03904. A time of sharing and refreshment will follow her service at the Connect Community Church at 200 Chase Drive Portsmouth NH 03801.
