Kittery- Barbara J. Mouton, 85 of Haley Road died on August 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born on November 28,1936 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Albert and Esther (Emerson) Linscott. She attended local schools, graduating from R.W Traip Academy with the class of 1954.

Barbara would have been married her loving husband Howard Moulton for sixty six years next month and together they raised their family on Haley Road in the home they built. Barbara was a representative for AVON for over twenty five years enjoying the relationships she created with her customers.

Barbara dearly loved children and helping families, she was a tireless community volunteer, spending countless hours at Mitchell School volunteering with the children and staff, always going the extra mile, doing the extra activities and making her mark on their lives. She was a dedicated organizer of the Kittery Holiday Baskets for seventy years along side her family, and for the last forty years was the director, spending endless hours year round, preparing and assembling meaningful gift and food baskets for so many throughout our community to ensure they had a Thanksgiving dinner for the families plus food and gifts at Christmas time. She also served as a long time member of the Order of The Eastern Star, supporting all of their many charitable causes.

She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church in Kittery Point, she dearly loved her church and her close church family.

Barbaras first love was unquestionably her family, she cherished time spent with all her family, sailing, traveling, time at Piper Pond and watching her grandchildren's many activities.

Barbie is survived by her husband Howard Moulton, daughter Deborah Moulton, grandsons; Joshua and Justin Barnaby, her sister in law Mary Zimmerman and beloved nephews. She was predeceased. By her parents , her sister Joanne Reams, her in laws Samuel H.W. Moulton and Elizabeth Moulton and brother in law John Moulton.

Friends are invited to visit with her family on Thursday August 18, 2022 from 5-7pm in the JS Pelkey and Son Funeral Home 125 Old Post Old Kittery Maine 03904.A funeral will be celebrated on Friday August 19, 2022 at 11 am in her church the First Christian Church 542 Haley Road Kittery Point Maine 03905.
