Obituary

Epping- Benoit "Ben" R. Sylvain, 70 of Hunter Drive in Epping died suddenly at Exeter Hospital on December 26, 2021.

Born in St.Francois, New Brunswick Canada on October 24, 1951 the son of Lionel and Laurina ( Pelletier) Sylvain. He was raised in Canada until he was fourteen when he and his family made Biddeford Maine their home, where he completed school, graduating from St. Louis High School in 1969.

He met and married his loving wife Linda ( Loignon ) Sylvain and together they made their home and raised their family in Epping.

Ben worked in the computer industry for many years prior to joining the family at Exeter Hospital where he was a beloved member of the staff engaging with all of the departments, sharing his positive outlook and smile with everyone.

He was an accomplished runner, finishing many marathons and local races. He always enjoyed a good craft beer, tending to his large veggie gardens and dancing at every family event.  His first love was his family, time spent with his wife and children and becoming a beloved Pepere. He never missed an event with his grandsons, enjoyed time in the woods on his property, perfected bike riding without training wheels and shared so much of himself with them.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda, their children and spouses Corey and Angela Sylvain, and Kylie and Jeff Drobisewski, grandsons; Nathan and Owen Drobisewski and Honour Sylvain, his mother Laurina Sylvain, sisters Rolland's Beaulieu and her husband Renald, Linda Beaulieu and her husband Michel and Diane Stackpole and her husband Chet, many nieces and nephews and brother in-laws Tony and his wife Odelle Loignon, and Keith and Maureen Loignon and many friends at Exeter Hospital.
