Somersworth - Bethany Green Dumais, 77, of Somersworth, NH, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 26th after battling cancer. Bethany was born September 18, 1943 and raised in Rollinsford, NH, the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy (Nutter) Green.

Bethany had a vivacious personality and was deeply caring with an admirable sense of humor. For decades, she enjoyed Sunday Card Night with lifelong friends as well as Friday night Bingo with old and new friends alike, laughing uproariously and occasionally winning some money. She loved trips to Las Vegas and visiting local casinos where she had some of the best times of her life. Bethany also spent summers enjoying York Beach, Maine with multiple generations of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bruce Dumais of Somersworth, and their three children, Diana Dumais of Dover, NH, Jonathan and wife Brianne Ronnie Dumais of Tucson, AZ, and James Dumais of Somersworth, NH, as well as her brother Peter Green of Portland, ME, and her sister Faith Kenton of Willimantic, CT. Bethany also leaves behind many friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Alison Wiggin, in 2006.
