Betty (Huntoon) Fiore, 98, passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2026. She was predeceased by two infant children, beloved husband Gus, daughter Linda Nelson and son Richard Johnson.

She is survived by son Joey Johnson, along with grandchildren John Nelson and Michael Johnson, great grandchildren Brandi Nelson, Jarod Johnson, Parker Johnson and several nieces and nephews.

Betty’s life was a full one, with her family at the forefront. After graduating from R.W. Traip Academy Class of 1946, she resided for periods both in Florida and Kittery. She was well known for her homemaking skills. Her talents included vocalizing with her husband in his band, “Gus Fiore and the Country Knockabouts.” Later on she assisted her son Dick as an administrative assistant within his business, Pine Brook Corporation.

With a wonderful quick wit and sense of humor, Betty fully enjoyed her many friends and family members. Hers was a life well-lived.
