Brad
Baker
Aug 23, 1964 — Aug 25, 2025
Brad Baker, a lifelong Kittery resident, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was one day shy of his 61st birthday.
After attending Kittery schools, Brad became a finish carpenter, cabinetmaker and craftsman. He finished his career as a project manager for Greenier Builders, where he worked with his best friend, helping to create beautiful homes and a thriving local business. Brad was exceptional at his job and was universally trusted and respected by coworkers, vendors and clients.
Brad was an avid golfer. He was incredibly proud to be a member of the York Golf and Tennis Club, where his grandfather, Louis Marston, had played into his 80s, and where he made many good friends. Brad loved to fish and never missed an opportunity to get out on the water. Above all, Brad loved to travel. He visited over 40 countries from Latin and South America to Asia and the Middle East. In his short life, Brad experienced enough places, people and adventures for 3 lifetimes.
Brad developed many close friendships and left an indelible mark on those he allowed into his circle. He had a great sense of humor, and was always willing to lend a hand to those who asked. He leaves behind his wife, Hong Tao Wang and her daughter, QiQi, his mother, Betty and husband, Tom, his brothers Brian, Barry and Bruce and hundreds of friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Brad's life will be held at "Lobster in the Rough" in York on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 12:00 – 4:00 PM. Friends are invited to come, and share your favorite memories of Brad.
