Obituary

Bradley Nye Shiverick, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the age of 62 after a long illness. He is survived by his sister Dayle Shiverick who lovingly cared for him the five years he resided in Kittery Maine, his mother Maryjane Shiverick, his former wife Kristine (Shiverick) Kaufmann, and his children Benjamin MacKay Shiverick and Margaret Kate Shiverick. He was predeceased by his father David Holt Shiverick. He is also survived by his stepfather, Barc Beahm and his caring family.

Brad and his family loved being active whether it was traveling to National Parks all over the country or staying closer to home in Wausau, WI where he and his family lived for 14 years. In the summers Brad and his family loved taking their motorboat out on a local lake and enjoyed inviting friends to partake in a day of tubing. His daughter recalls the many times she and her brother were tubing behind the boat singing or laughing the whole time. Another fond memory for Margaret was when Brad taught her how to drive the boat. Winter in WI brought with it downhill skiing, a sport that Brad had loved since childhood, cross country skiing, and ice skating. His son Ben fondly remembers Brad teaching him how to ski. Ben also treasures the times in the car when he and Brad would listen to comedy. Both kids loved playing hide and go seek when Brad returned from a business trip. Additionally, Brad was the announcer for Margaret's figure skating shows for 5 years and supported his son Benjamin during all his curling events.

Brad was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute. He built a distinguished career spanning more than three decades in the field of healthcare quality, analytics, and strategic development. He served as Senior Vice President of Healthcare Analytics at Team TSI, where he led initiatives in product development, client relations, and strategic growth, helping to advance industry-leading tools for long-term care providers. Previously, as Principal of Grindstone Healthcare Consulting, he guided organizations in strategy, operations, and performance improvement. As Chief Quality Officer at My InnerView, Brad directed national research, product innovation, and quality management efforts for thousands of senior care providers across the country. During his tenure as Vice President of Quality at Harborside Healthcare, he oversaw quality assurance and customer satisfaction initiatives that earned the company top national rankings and numerous quality awards. Earlier in his career, Brad Shiverick held leadership roles with the American Health Care Association and contributed to groundbreaking national research on nursing home quality and reimbursement systems. Throughout his professional life, Brad was deeply committed to improving the quality of care and operational excellence within the long-term care industry. Brad was known not only for his expertise but for his kindness, integrity, and unwavering belief that every person deserves dignity and respect in care. His impact lives on in the people and programs he helped build.
