Rochester: Carlene J. Lapointe, 70, of Rochester, died November 16, 2013 in Wilmington, MA following an extended period of failing health. She was born in Rochester, August 9, 1943 the daughter of Arthur J. and Dorothea J. (Spear) Leblond. Carlene retired from G.E. after many years of service in the repair department. She was a communicant of St. Martin Church, Somersworth. An active person, Carlene enjoyed bowling and shuffleboard. She and her husband enjoyed over 50 years at their camp on Lovell Lake. Her husband, Leo died April 13, 2008 Members of her family include her sons, Gregory of Somersworth and Timothy of Tennessee, her sisters, Lorraine Norman of Rochester and Sandra Rodgers of Florida also, her grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashley. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish in St. Martin Church, Somersworth with Rev. Michael S. Taylor and Rev. Daniel Sinabaldi as con-celebrants. Rev. Tom Clark will also assist in the celebration of Carlene s life. Visitation will be in the church 1 hour prior to the funeral.
