Carmen E. Adams passed away unexpectedly at the age of 44 at her home in South Berwick, on September 9, 2025. She was born in Dover, New Hampshire, on November 19, 1980, to Stephanie (Andrews) Adams and Kim C. Adams of Kittery, Maine. She attended both Kittery and Eliot schools and went on to earn her associate degree in medical office management from Great Bay Community College. She worked as a surgery scheduler at Seacoast Surgical Associates of Dover, located at Wentworth Douglas Hospital, where she became a highly valued employee who also undertook numerous additional responsibilities within the practice. She developed a special love for the northern regions of Maine and often vacationed at family properties on Embden Lake and Stearns Pond. Some of her favorite activities were swimming, paddleboarding, and attending her sons' athletic activities. She is survived by her sons, Aidan McPherson and Parker McPherson, both of South Berwick, Maine; her brother, Ian Adams, of Lake Worth, Florida; her parents, Kim Adams and Stephanie Andrews; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A wake will be held at J.S. Pelkey Funeral Home in Kittery on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
