Somersworth – Carol A. Plaisted, 68 of Sherwood Glen, died Mon. Jan. 11, 2016 at Lakes Regional Hospital.

Carol was born in Dover May 8, 1947, the daughter of William and Gloria (Clement) Ainsworth. Carol was retired from Tiara Footwear.

Carol enjoyed bingo, her morning shows, and most of all her family.

Her beloved husband, Harry Plaisted, predeceased her.

Carol was a wonderful mother to her two children, William Plaisted and wife Amy (Burley) of Farmington and their three children, Patrick Duffy of Newmarket, William Plaisted, Jr. and Michaela Plaisted of Farmington; Katherine (Plaisted) Oroh and husband Jake Oroh of Somersworth and their children Andrew Morse and wife Tersa (Sumolang), Kayleigh and husband Jerry Tengker, Jessica and husband Rafel Wantania, Frank Pattiasina, Marcelano, Gabrielle, Angelina, and Mateo Oroh, Jennifer and Jason Suwu, and Matthew Mahadeo of Somersworth. Carol was also a mother figure to Johanna Nason, Steve Peters, Jennifer Sheehan, and Melissa Nason. Her great grandchildren include Jeremi Morse, Lucas Tengker, Saydee Wantania, and Brielle Duffy. Her sisters, Louise and husband Dennis Dodson of Hampton and Margaret Krupski of Effingham. Brothers Fred and wife Andree Ouimette of Berwick and William and wife Alice Ainsworth of East Rochester. Predeceased by her mother, father, sister's Sandra Bright and Sheila McDonald, and grandson Tyler Morse.

Friends may visit with Carol's family on Friday January 15, 2016 from 10am-12n at the Bernier Funeral Home 49 South Street, Somersworth, NH, 03878. At Carol's request, for all that attend services please dress in colorful attire.
