Carol Summa, 84, of Scranton, Pa, died Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Maine while staying with her daughter.

Born in Scranton, Pa on August 18, 1938, she was the daughter of the late William Jones and Carolyn Richards Jones Osborne.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Daugherty and her husband, Michael of South Berwick Maine; son, Michael A. Summa, Jr of Scranton, grandchildren, Nicole E Bettley and her husband, Will,  of North Berwick, Maine and Shaw Summa of Abington Township; her brother William Jones, Jr. of Scranton, and his wife, Cathy Judge Jones and 24 nieces and nephews and several cousins.

She is predeceased by her husband Michael A Summa, an infant son and her sister Barbara Jones McCracken.

A burial mass will be celebrated at her church, Nativity of Our Lord Church on Orchard St in Scranton on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 10am.  Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
