Obituary

Kittery- Casey Ryan Savage,9, Born May 6, 2007 passed away April 21, 2017.
Casey is the sweetest, funniest and most loving child that we all had the pleasure of knowing. He loves playing basketball with his friends and he knows more about professional football stats than anyone we know. If you wanted to know how many passes Antonio Brown caught last year, you just had to ask Casey. Casey is an extremely intelligent child and he has the most incredible love for reading. His all-time favorite book series is Big Nate and every night after a shower you could find him curled up in bed reading his latest book. Casey loves his family tremendously, even though he says we are all loud. He especially loves spending time with his cousins. Casey's favorite pastimes are reading, watching YouTube videos, playing Madden and playing football with his friends at school. If you asked him what he learned at school, the answer was always "Nothing" but he always knew how many football passes he caught at recess. Casey holds the record for most dill pickles eaten as he had one every day at snack time from Kindergarten on. Casey played basketball, soccer and baseball with the Kittery Recreation Department and the Kittery Little League. If you know Casey, you know how much he is loved. Casey was raised by a village of people who banded together in his best interest and he got the best of all of us which made him the amazing kid that he became. He is so loved and cherished amongst his entire family and he will be missed beyond measure. Casey left us far too soon and it has caused unimaginable pain for all who loved him but we do take a small comfort in knowing that Casey will live on not only in spirit but also through his gifts of organ donation.
