Catherine M. Levesque, 79 passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 due to complications following a recent fall. Born on March 7, 1938 in Everett, Washington to Betty (Schlereth) and Leo Mooney. Catherine was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved being a homemaker and was an anchor for her husband and children. She worked at times during her life as a caregiver with both young children and the elderly. Even as a child Cathy had a love for music and learned to play the violin. She enjoyed music and dancing throughout her life and didn't miss an opportunity to kick off her shoes and dance. Cathy was an amazing cook and loved to bake. Many times she had a crock of beans going for one of her husbands many functions and would often have a piece of banana bread to go with an ever-ready cup of tea if you stopped in to visit. Catherine greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and a cheery hello. She truly had the heart of a servant, always putting others before herself. We are better for knowing her and having her in our lives and will miss her tremendously. Catherine is survived by her loving family, daughter JoAnn and her husband Paul Roberts of Kittery Point, Maine; daughter Nicole and her husband Paul Labrecque of Barrington, NH, a daughter-in-law Glenda Sharp and a son-in-law James Matotte; grandchildren who she loved dearly, Rhonda and her husband Todd Beaver and their children Tyler and Haley; Joseph and his wife Shanna Levesque and their children Chelsea and James; Michael and his wife Alyson Roberts and their children Maxwell and Madison; Jessica and her husband Darren Gerhardt and their children Caelen and Skylar; Ethan Matotte, Katherine Matotte, and Wyatt Labrecque; sister Patricia Henault, several nieces and nephews and close friends Skip, Carolyn and Wayne
Although a resident of Avita of Wells only a short time, Catherine made many wonderful
friends there and was dearly loved by her caregivers.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph of sixty two years, son Rene, her parents and a sister Barbara Kuether.
