Christina Marie "Tina" Cahalan (Tichenor), age 77, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026. Tina lived in Summerville, SC, and Tenants Harbor, ME.

Tina was born on December 5, 1948, in the Bronx, New York. Her parents were Raymond S. Tichenor and Frieda Cecelia Tichenor. Her family moved to Glen Rock, NJ, when she was two years old, and she grew up there. She graduated from Glen Rock High School and attended Sacred Heart College in Belmont, NC.

During her working years, Tina was a recruiter and placement specialist for Spectrum Services in Morris Plains, NJ. When she wasn't working, Tina loved flea markets and yard sales; she had a passion for collecting antiques and was a gifted decorator. She referred to each room in the house by its paint color. She loved a good book and "pulling up a cat". She was always eager to discuss movies and movie stars from past years. She was also very interested in her family's genealogy and enjoyed her sister Leslie's research about their family tree.

She was wed to Frank J Cahalan on November 27, 1971. They lived the majority of their life in Morristown, NJ.

She is survived by her Husband, Frank, and her children, Jerry Cahalan of Johns Island, SC, Regan Myers of Tenants Harbor, ME, and Dennis Cahalan of Summerville, SC; she is also survived by five grandchildren: Jacob Cahalan, Logan Cahalan, Harper Cahalan, Alaina Myers, and Olivia Myers.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Leslie Mason, and her brother David Tichenor. Tina will be interred next to her parents in Dingmans Ferry, PA. Other arrangements have not been finalized at this time.

In lieu of flowers, Tina wished for donations to be made to P.A.W.S. animal shelter in Camden, Maine
