SOMERSWORTH - Christopher A. Pepin, 46, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 following a lengthy battle with Type I diabetes. Born at Frisbee Memorial Hospital December 23, 1970, he was the son of Martin and Joanne Pepin.
Chris graduated from Stratham Technical College earning an associated degree in automotive technology. He was previously a certified call Somersworth Firefighter. He loved re-building his and his Dad's antique Corvettes. Working beside his Dad at 5 years old, he played an intricate part of building his family home.
Chris loved fishing, bowling and all animals. It was always important to Chris that people were good to each other. He would want to be remembered as someone who wanted the sharing of hugs and smiles.
Chris is survived by his parents, his brother Skip Pepin of Somersworth and was pre-deceased by his brother Derek Pepin. He is also survived by his grandfather Romeo Pepin and grandmother Doris Lavoie. His loving family includes Nancy, Pete, Sue Schug and Jason Veno. Corey, Scott and Jacob Porter. Bob, Bev, Rob and Chad Lavoie. Rick Lavoie and Rosie England. Richard, Jason, Estella, Owen, Nathan and Joshua Pepin. Michael and Kelsey Pepin. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents Roger and Louise Lavoie and Marilyn Pepin as well as a special great-grandmother Alice Pepin. Also, aunts Alma Fosse and Mary Lavoie.
Services: Calling hours are 5-7pm, Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South Street, Somersworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, July 27, 2017, at 1030am, at St. Martin Church of St Ignatius of Loyola Parish, 120 Maple Street, Somersworth.
