Cristina Jill Mosqueda passed away unexpectedly on October 12th, 2022, at her home.

Cristina Jill was born at The Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio, on September 22nd, 1961, to Reverend Ignacio and Stella (Cooper) Mosqueda.  Her mother named her Cristina for her Cuban life and Jill for her American life.  Jill would say, "this is where the paradox of her life began".

Cristina Jill was a writer, who loved words and the power and the passion which they can be used to create.  She loved reading words, writing words, speaking words, and listening to words — especially words from people that she loved and respected.  And for her, it was always about the people she loved. Yes, God came first, but she truly believed that one of the ways we show our love to God is by loving His creation

She is survived by the many to whom she loved.

A time of visitation will take place at their home; 14 Beaver Dam Road, South Berwick, ME, from 2-5p, on Friday, October 28th. There will be a gravesite ceremony at Woodlawn Cemetery in South Berwick at dusk.
