Kittery – Daniele Weyand, 43, of Kittery, Maine, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018, Daniele lost her battle with Leukemia while I held her in my arms.

Born in Maringa, Brazil, on February 7, 1975, she was the daughter of Aparecido Antonio Marchi and Altair Sergia Marchi of Maringa, Brazil.  She is survived by myself, her husband, James of Kittery; sister Glasiela Tania Marchi of Brazil; nephews Tales and Cayo of Brazil, and nieces Thais and Nayara of Brazil. She was predeceased by her sister Valeria Soraia Marchi Camara; and niece Claudinha Camara, both of Brazil.

Daniele's spirit could move mountains.  Her smile was inspiring, and her heart was ever loving. Daniele truly was an angel in this world.  She represented love, respect, appreciation, inspiration, and true happiness.  Her heart was compassionate and selfless. She was the most selfless and compassionate person I've ever met.  Her happiness was my happiness.  She would have done anything for myself and anyone she had met.  Daniele was the most amazing wife.

Daniele followed her stars to Hawaii where she met me. We were both thousands of miles from home, with empty hearts longing to be filled with love and passion. It truly was love at first sight. Our special connection was protected by the heavens and everything flowed for our blessings. Our true happiness in this world was our happiness together.

Daniele and I were together for only 4 years, but those 4 years were filled with a lifetime of love and memories.  We were only apart from each other for 4 days.  Daniele and I were complete together and could laugh all day.

May Daniele's memory live on in the memories of all the people she's touched.

Daniele's family lives in Brazil.  Her mother and friends will make the trip from Brazil to attend her service.  Donations will help cover the costs of their travel and lodging expenses while here.

Daniele's funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at J S Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Rd, Kittery, ME 03904. A public time of visitation will take place from 4:30pm to 6pm.
