Kittery -Dannie Erwin Davidson, 64 of Kittery died on July 1st, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital following a period of failing health.

Born and raised in the City of Portsmouth he was a son of the late Blynn and Regina (McCausland) Davidson. He attended local school including graduation from Portsmouth High School with the class of 1972.

After school he began a life-long career in the auto repair and body work industry working first for COAST Cadillac in their shop in Portsmouth before starting out on his own, opening a shop in Kittery at home on Main Street then moving to the Route 1 bypass where he has operated for many years.

Dannie enjoyed many years of travel to Florida especially time spent on the Keys. He loved to cruise in his many corvettes over the years. An avid AC/DC fan he also enjoyed cultivating roses at his home, feeding his finches in the back yard, and driving Miss "Kathy" on Sunday afternoons.

He is survived by his fiancé Kathy Cresta of Kittery, his daughters Amy and her husband Shawn Goodwin and Karrianne and her husband Shaun Wyman, and grandchildren Owen and Madilyn Wyman all of Sanford Maine, and Kathy's family.
