Rochester – Darin F. Diamant, of Rochester, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a long hard battle with several medical issues.

He was born on June 6, 1967, son of Donald C. Diamant Sr. and the late, Freda (Turcotte) Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Debra (Austin) Diamant of Rochester; step father, Dana Smith Jr. of Rochester; son, Austin Diamant and his wife, Amanda, daughter, Alicia Diamant and son, Andrew Diamant all of Rochester; a brother, Donald Diamant, Jr and his wife, Karen of Milton; and half-sister, Darlene Diamant of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Darin enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, cooking, collecting comic books and going to the movies. He was an avid fan of everything superhero and loved sharing that love and knowledge with his children and friends. He was a loving and compassionate person. He was a devoted father of three children, the oldest being an Eagle Scout that recently married a wonderful woman and best friend, following in Darin and Debra's footsteps as they were also teenage friends that married after college 26 years ago. The twins that are now teenagers are also very involved in many local and school activities.

Services: A time of visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Friday, June 17th at the Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South Street, Somersworth. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 18th at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 189 North Main Street, Rochester.
