Darlene M. (Jacques) Irons, 56, died April 20, 2013 at her home following a period of failing health. Born in Rochester, January 3, 1957, she was the daughter of Richard A. and Mary V. (Tarr) Jacques. Darlene was a communicant of Our Lady of the Angels Parish. A creative person by nature, Darlene enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She also enjoyed reading. She was a loving sister and friend. Members of her family include her siblings and their spouses, Robert and Constance Jacques of South Berwick, Alfred and Susan Jacques of South Berwick, David and Kathy Jacques of Lebanon, Richard Ben and Muriel Jacques of Berwick, Michael and Katherine Jacques of Berwick, Linda Jacques of Berwick, Liz Maker and John Hinds of Rollinsford and Lisa and Michael Scarborough of Bremerton, WA. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Darlene was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Haines. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 pm in Bernier Funeral Home 49 South St. Somersworth during which time at 7pm, Rev. Mr. Roger Normand of Our Lady of the Angels Parish will conduct a funeral service. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Somersworth at a later date.
