David G Desharnais, 72, died October 31, 2024, at Wentworth Douglas Hospital. He was born in Rochester, NH, on September 25, 1952 to Theresa (Blanchette) and George Desharnais.

Dave was predeceased by his loving wife Susan just 22 months prior. Also by two stepdaughters Kelly Nason and Lisa Adjutant.

He is survived by his three children, Dan Desharnais, Rick Desharnais (Mary) and favorite daughter, Mindy Clark. Also by three step-daughters Jenny Pelletier (Mike) Debbie Adjutant (Dean) and Missy Pare (Glenn); Siblings Bob Desharnais (Lynn), Diane Dubois (Paul) and Donna Decareau (Richie); as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Dave worked 31 proud years at the Portsmouth Naval shipyard. He was a lifelong resident of Somersworth, New Hampshire, and the true definition of a homebody. Dave enjoyed building and maintaining his beautiful pond gardens and other landscapes for various wildlife to enjoy.
