Rollinsford - Dennis James Gagnon, 60 of Rollinsford, New Hampshire passed away on July 31, 2016 after his courageous battle with bladder cancer.

Born in Dover, NH on April 17, 1956 to Laurent and Maureen Gagnon, Dennis graduated from Somersworth High School in 1974 and spent over 40 years as a mechanic, passionately working on cars.

Dennis was an avid golfer and NASCAR enthusiast. He got a lot of enjoyment out of life's simple pleasures like mowing the lawn or going to the dump on Saturday with his Miniature Greyhound, Tucker, as his copilot.  But, above all else he devoted his life to his four daughters.   His happiness stemmed from theirs and his devotion and unconditional love is rooted within each of them.

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Robyn Gagnon and their four daughters: Tamrah Rouleau and husband Jeremy of Portsmouth; Jessica Hamann, husband Ryan and Dennis' first grandchild Bentley of Somersworth; Samantha Gagnon of Rollinsford; and Miranda Gagnon of Rollinsford.  He is additionally survived by his mother, Maureen Gagnon of Rollinsford and his three siblings; Michael Gagnon and wife Carlene of Merrimack; Laurie Lessard and husband Michael of Gray, Maine; and Linda Gagnon and partner Dennis Fowler of Rochester along with six nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his father, Laurent Gagnon and brother, Kevin Gagnon.

In his final days Dennis continued to make jokes and bring smiles to those around him wanting nothing more than to raise a glass with all to celebrate life. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the members of Hyder Family Hospice for their kindness, dedication and comfort.
