Dolores S. Evans, 74, of Plaza Terrace, died March 1, 2012 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital following a period of failing health. Born in Berlin, N.H. September 24, 1937 Dolores was the daughter of Felix and Rose (Boutin) Morin. She has lived here since 1952 and had attended the Chandler School. Dolores was the widow of Placide J. Nadeau and Brackett Evans. She was a communicant of St. Martin Church Prior to her retirement, Dolores was employed at Instrumentation Corp of Dover in the Packaging Department. Members of her family include her son, Placide Nadeau, Jr of Rochester, Her daughter, Diane Beaton of Somersworth, her brothers, Paul Morin of St. Petersburg, Fl., and Maurice Morin of Columbia, N.H. also, her sisters, Rolande Fortin of Dover. 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive Dolores. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Bernier Funeral Home 49 South St. Somersworth where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11am with Rev. Michael S. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bernier Funeral Home.
