Eliot- Dolores Spinney Roy, 83 of Eliot died on August 10, 2015 at Maine Medical Center in Portland following a short illness. Born in Hartford Ct, on January 11, 1923 she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Lena (Allaire) Aubin. Following school she and her family made their home in California where she would meet Addison Horace Spinney, they were married and made their home for a time in Portsmouth before settling in Eliot where they would raise a family for nearly thirty years until his death. After Horace passed away she was married for a time to Lewis Holden before his death. In 1995 she married her loving husband Robert Roy and together they enjoyed twelve years of marriage. Dee most recently made her home for a number of years a Meeting House Village in Kittery where she enjoyed many wonderful friends. She was a talented crafter, enjoyed bus tours, puzzles, music and was a member with her daughter of a local accordian band. Dolores is survived by her daughter Judy and son in law Stephen Crosby of Eliot, grandchildren Erik and Dawn Crosby, Hillary and Todd Hughes, Jessica and Brian Jordan, Christian Hummel and Shane Greenleaf, as well as eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Cyndi Chapman. Friends may visit with Dee's family on Saturday from 11am - 1pm in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 12 Old Post Road Kittery Maine where a funeral will be celebrated at 1pm with burial to follow in Mt.
