Portsmouth- Don A. Tobey died October 22, 2020 in Baldwin, AL, after a short period of declining health.  He was born in Exeter, NH on February 18, 1957, the son of Stanley H. and Bertha (Silsby) Tobey. He graduated from R.W. Traip Academy in Kittery.

After completing an apprenticeship with the Local Plumbers union, he worked at Standard Plumbing & Heating for many years. In most recent years he worked for Dalton Insulation.

Don was an avid sports fan, following the Red Sox, Bruins,Patriots and the Cleveland Browns. Don was a quiet and unassuming person who had many longtime friends in the area.

He is survived by his siblings; James (Pamela) Tobey, Franklin (Kendra) Tobey, Jayne (Kenneth) Lilly, Lynne (David) Young, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Don was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Stanley C. Tobey, and his sister, Betty Ann Tobey.
