Center Barnstead NH- Doris M Blanchard, 80 of 33 North Shore Drive in Center Barnstead, formerly a long time resident of Eliot, Maine, died on December 16, 2017 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital.

Born in South Berwick, Maine on December 24, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Mary (Littlefield )Goodwin. She attended local schools, graduating from Berwick Academy. She later attended McIntosh Business School.  She moved to Eliot in 1980, making her home there for thirty six years, downsizing in 2016. She was a valued and beloved employee at Howell's Truck Stop in Kittery, where she worked for many years as an accountant/bookkeeper in the office.

Following her retirement from Howell's, she enjoyed a three month trip across America seeing and enjoying all it had to offer. She then began working for the Kittery Trading Post, enjoying nearly thirteen years serving clients there.  She was an avid out of doors enthusiast ; kayaking, hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing were some of her favorites, as well as her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens.  She is survived by her family, daughter Mary Landry and her husband David of New York, son Donald Blanchard and his wife Ann both of South Berwick, daughter Lisa Gonzales and partner Mike Sargent of Berwick, daughter Darlene King of Nottingham and a son in law Jason King, grandchildren, Robert Gonzales and his fiancé Chadia Hardy Khawlane, Alison Landry, and Jonathan Jenkins and his wife Crystal Tangen-Jenkins , great grandchildren Trafton Gonzales and Heidi Leigh Jenkins, and a sister Edna Krueger of Iowa. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Harvey "Milton" Goodwin.
