Rochester Edmond W. Couture, 60, 0f Buffy St. Rochester, NH died Tuesday January 22, 2013 after a brief illness. He was born in Rochester on May 29, 1952 the son of Richard A. and Laure (Gonthier) Couture. He was educated at St. Martin School and was a graduate of Somersworth High School Class of 1970. He was previously employed by Heidleberg-Harris of Dover, NH and was currently employed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Shop 31. Ed was known to be an avid New York Yankees fan to everyone who knew him. He was a member of the Club Victoire in Rochester. Survivors include his mother, Laure Couture of Somersworth, a sister, Estelle Fontaine and her husband, Albert (Buck) of Berwick, a niece, Lisa Odom and her husband Ryan of Northwood, and a nephew Eric Fontaine of South Berwick, Maine He was preceded in death by his father in 2008 There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held Friday May 3rd, 2013 at Noon in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Somersworth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society, 262 County Farm Rd.
