Dover – Edward T. Jankauskas, Sr., 79, of Dover, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 5, 1936 in Hudson, New Hampshire, a son of the late Joseph C. and Marion (Waiswilos) Jankauskas.
Ed served his country in the United States Army National Guard during the Vietnam War.
Prior to his retirement, he was an independent contractor for the Portsmouth Herald.
Ed loved scrap booking and western movies and books.
His first wife, Elaine (Boilard) Jankauskas, brother, Joseph Jankauskas, and sister, Marion Cznoniaka, predeceased him.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Healey of Dover; a son, Edward T. Jankauskas, Jr and his wife, Nicole of Kittery, ME; two daughters, Kim Patton and her husband, James of Hampton and Tracey MacDonald of Hampton; a step daughter, Lori Jackson of Tamworth and a stepson, Richard Smith of Dover; six grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Services: A Memorial Visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the JS Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Road, Kittery, ME. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
