KITTERY - Eileen C. Pendleton (Briggs), 96 of Kittery, Maine died peacefully Sunday, October 22, 2017.

Eileen and her husband Clinton were long time residents of Braintree, MA before retiring to Claremont NH, then Berwick, ME.  Eileen lived independently in her home for 12 years before moving to Kittery Estates Independent Living Community where she was adored by the staff and residents.

Eileen enjoyed many self taught talents including sewing, needlepoint, crewel, cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, furniture reupholstering and playing the organ. She also loved Jigsaw puzzles.

Wife of the late Clinton L. Pendleton she is survived by her three sons Harry and wife Ozzie of King George, VA;  Richard and wife Ruth of Braintree, MA; Thomas and wife Lisa of Castleton, VA; sister Cleora Horton of Saratoga, CA; brother-in-law George Pendleton of Fitchburg, MA; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great, great, grandchildren.

Services: A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at the First Congregational Church, 1361 State Road, Eliot, ME at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017.  Memorial donations may be made to a Veterans Organization of your choice or the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
