Obituary

Elena (Galok) Rainville, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2014 after a long illness. She was born and raised in Hinsdale, MA and later moved to the seacoast area. She enjoyed employment in various jobs that allowed her to work with other people and was able to realize a lifelong dream when she became the owner of the Durham Point B&B in 2004. Elena operated the B&B until 2007 when she closed the business due to illness.
Elena most loved spending time with her friends and family. She was a great cook who enjoyed hosting dinner parties for any occasion. Elena was an avid Red Sox fan and got to see many games at Fenway Park and other stadiums. She loved watching them on television and would often scream for Big Papi to hit a home run. She also loved to brag about her three basset hounds and was always ready to show everyone pictures of them.
She traveled often to the Berkshires to visit with her daughters and the rest of her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with the "Laughing Galok Sisters", telling stories of past adventures and of good times yet to come. Elena had an infectious laugh and a smile that would light up a room. It is a light that will never dim.
Elena was predeceased by her parents, Stephan and Helen (Kondey) Galok and by a special nephew, PJ. She is survived by… her husband, Philip, of Milton, her daughters, Tonya Harrison and husband, Peter Yetman, and Sondra Harrison all of Peru, MA,
