Dover Elinor D. Ridlon, 86, beloved wife of the late Eugene A. Ridlon, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Riverside Rest Home in Dover. She was born on March 12, 1928 in Franklin, NH, daughter of the late William D. and Grace (Whitacker) George. Elinor retired from GE in Somersworth as a line worker after 25 years. She and her husband enjoyed traveling during their retirement. A favorite time was always wintering in Myrtle Beach, SC. She also looked forward to time spent in her flower garden. Two brothers, William and Carl George, predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Pay and her husband, John of Rollinsford; son,George Ridlon and his wife, Cheryl of Milwaukie, OR; grandsons, Brian and Kevin Pay, Eric, Adam, and Nathan Ridlon; great grandchildren, Brenne, Joshua, Estelle, Silvie, Lydia, Avery, Leland and Hudson; a brother, Howard George and his wife, Ellie. Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM, followed by a time of visitation and light lunch, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the First Parish Church, 176 West High Street, Somersworth with Pastor Mark Rideout officiating. Friends invited. Family flowers only. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Parish Church, Somersworth. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Berwick, Me, in the spring.
