It's with great sadness we say goodbye to Elissa (Lisa) Peterson who passed away at home on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Born in Portsmouth NH on April 19, 1956, to Elaine and John Hussey she attended and graduated from Portsmouth High School. She spent the next 35+ years dedicated to working in childcare; the majority spent at HeadStart of Kittery until she retired in 2021. She loved all her kids and made a true difference in so many children's lives.

Lisa leaves behind her beloved son Zane Peterson of Portland ME, her loving partner Michael Bohley of South Berwick ME, her sister Christine and husband Jerry Green of West Roxbury MA, her sister Julie Paradis and husband Rob Robertson of Portsmouth NH, her sister Elaine and husband Jeff Jones of South Berwick ME and sister Jamie McWilliams of Eliot ME.

Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to Zane and being a loving Auntie to nieces and nephew Coby, Caleb, and Tess. The family will never forget the endless hours of entertainment she provided all the kids, from the countless bowling trips, adventures to Hampton Beach Sandcastle competition, spending sizzling summer afternoons in the pool, and attending the many plays her son was in. Her straight to the point humor will truly be missed by everyone.

A celebration of life will be held Friday 3pm at 193 York Woods Road with a private ceremony to follow.
