On November 6, 2023, Elizabeth "Betsy" McFadden passed peacefully with her sister Bonnie present at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, ME. She was born to Henry and Barbara Pucko on November 26, 1937, in Lunenburg, MA. Betsy was a graduate of Lunenburg High School in 1955. She married John "Jack" McFadden and lived much of her life in Kittery, Maine.

She had worked for the Portsmouth New Hampshire, school system in Food services for many years. She also worked at the YMCA of Portsmouth for twenty-plus years. Betsy was a faithful communicant of the First Congregational Church in Kittery Point, Maine. She participated in many of the church functions over many years.

Her family consisted of her parents, Henry and Barbara Pucko, and brother, Henry" Bud" Pucko, who had predeceased her. Her other family members are Timothy "Tim" Pucko and a sister, Bonnie Haley-Baron. Her children, Barbara Price, Patrick McFadden, Timothy McFadden, and Michael McFadden. She also had four grandchildren: Amanda, Brieanna, Taylor, and Kylie, as well as one great-grandchild, Miles.

The funeral arrangements are with J S Pelkey & Son Funeral Home of Kittery. A memorial of life will be celebrated at the First Congregational Church - 23 Pepperrell Rd – Kittery, Maine, on Sunday afternoon at 1 PM.

The family will provide flowers for the service. A donation can be made to the First Congregational Church of Kittery Point Flower Fund in Betsy's memory.
