Somersworth - Evelyn Florence Shevelin, 97, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2018 .  She was born on June 21, 1920 in North Wakefield, N.H., the only daughter of Alice and Carroll McDonald.

Evelyn loved all the animals, especially her last dog Rebel. She enjoyed traveling here in America and several other countries.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Lester Haven Reed and her parents.

Evelyn leaves her children, Anita Gluth, Lester Reed, Carol McCabe and her husband Donald, Susan Donnell,  June Vermette and her husband Gregory.  Her loving grandchildren, Michelle, Donald, Patricia, Laura, DeAnna, Katie, Amanda and Robert. She also leaves 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Services - There will be no visiting hours.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 23, 2018, at 10am, Holy Trinity Church, 404 High St,  Somersworth,  NH.  Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
