Kittery Point- Fenn Schnieder Duncan, 54 of Kittery Point died on November
29, 2015 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
Fenn was, in her own quiet way, always ready and waiting to share a wise
word, a good meal, a caring attentiveness and a hearty, resounding laugh.
She loved so many facets of life in her fifty four years -- the color
purple, a kindred quick wit, current and past furry four-legged rescue
beasts, going out for breakfast and collaborating on the New York Times
Sunday crossword with wife Laurie Bilby, gathering family together, being
stealthily generous, wandering over from the family cottage on a summer
morning to have tea with parents Donald and Joyce Duncan, finding a second
home in the good people and good work of South Church Unitarian
Universalist, Portsmouth, NH.
Besides her spouse and parents, those mourning the too-soon loss of Fenn's
light and laugh include her sister, Rev Nancy Duncan, brother-in-law Larry
Pritchett , mother-in-law Marilyn Bilby and a widespread extended family,
among whom were many beloved cousins, friends and colleagues.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday December 12, 2015 at noon
in the South Church, Portsmouth New Hampshire. Online condolences may be
made by visiting www.jspelkeyfuneralhome.com. The work of South Church,
Kittery Land Trust, and the Animal Welfare Society of West Kennebunk, Maine
were all near and dear to Fenn's heart, if you'd like to make a donation in
honor of this good, good woman. ?
