Franklin J. Libby (Frankie, Frank), 81, died unexpectedly on November 16, 2021, at his home in Somersworth, NH. He was born in Berwick, Maine on March 13, 1940, the son of Clarence and Almeda (Whitten). Upon completing his education, Frank went into many different trades, owning Franks Automotive and Towing, doing his own construction as well as working at Brown Industrial Group, and maintenance at Carpet Brite and Great Bay Athletic Club. To Franks Family, he was known as the "Jack of all trades".
In addition to being predeceased by his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Clarence (JR), Francis (Ike) and David.
Surviving are his sons Brian Grover of Virginia and his son Brian, Jr., Timothy Libby, and his wife Lisa of Lebanon, ME, and his stepchildren Tony and Marie Duong, Jeffrey Libby and his partner Andrea Boileau of Somersworth, NH and his son Brayden.
Also surviving are his daughters Brenda Dunlap of Vermont and her daughters Melissa Stickney and Meaghan Dunlap, Lucille (Sissy) Edder and her husband Lewis of Mauldin, SC and her sons Nicholas and Carlyle, Melissa (Missy) Libby of Somersworth, NH and her children Ashlee Durand and Allison Milliard, Heidi Sirois-Rohrbacher and her husband Eric, of Rochester, NH and her children Noah Davis, Samuel, KateLynn and Nicholas Sirois, stepchildren Max and Sydney Rohrbacher.
One brother, Charles Libby and his wife, Marguerite. Sisters, Gladys Coffin, Marseille Richardson, Laura Plaisted, Joanne Rita, and Mary Lorenzo and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many coworkers and friends.
Frank enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved collecting lighthouses, rocks from the many beaches he frequented and many other trinkets that he liked to display around his home. Frank had a green thumb and to make sure the grass was always green he was always puttering around the yard, working on and rebuilding cars, racing box and stock cars. He will be greatly missed by many.

His family would like to thank Dr. Jonathan Bridges and the staff at York Hospital Cardiology and Cardiovascular Care of New Hampshire, Jeff Eaton of Great Works Family Practice, Mallory Evans and Blanca Monteiro of York Hospital Pulmonology, Wentworth Douglas Hospital and Portsmouth hospital for taking great care of their father over the years.
