Frederick Kellogg Gifford Iii's Obituary
South Berwick- Frederick Kellogg Gifford III 57, of South Berwick died suddenly at his home on Pine Street on February 28,2017. He worked as a carpenter and musician. Fred graduated with a BS in business from USM and a mortuary science degree from FINE. He became a licensed funeral director and took over his father's business with the Dodge Company. He had a lifelong passion for sailing and music, frequently combining them by playing guitar on his boat. He is survived by his wife, Yuhong; his step-children Libo, Zachary & Taryn; and siblings Cindye, Stephanie and Kenneth. He is also survived by his father, Frederick Kellogg Gifford Jr. And stepmother Susan C. Pendleton. Fred was recently predeceased by his mother, Carol Ellen Gifford and stepfather George Nicol.
Friends are invited to visit with Fred's family on Sunday March 5, 2017 from 4-7 pm in the First Congregational Church of Eliot UCC 1361 State Road in Eliot, ME 03903, where a funeral will be celebrated on Monday March 6, 2017 at 10am with the Rev.
