Fredrick Louis Ouellette of Somersworth, NH passed away from a brief illness on April 22, 2022 with his children by his side at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was born on August 21, 1954 to Reginald Ouellette and Pauline (Michaud) Ouellette in Caribou, Maine.

Fredrick is survived by his siblings Reuben Ouellette and his wife Martha of Springfield, VT, Nora (Ouellette) Sevigny and her husband William of New Durham, NH, David Ouellette of Manchester, NH and Ivan Ouellette and his wife Amanda of Rochester, NH. Fredrick is also survived by his children, Fredrick Ouellette Jr. and his wife Jessica of Ossipee, NH, Kelly (Ouellette) Nyberg of Rochester, NH, Nicolas Ouellette and his wife Breann of Stratham, NH, Philip Ouellette and his wife Abbey of Somersworth, NH, Jaime (James) Ouellette of Sanbornville, NH and Rachel Lafleur of Somersworth, NH. In addition, he is survived by many grandchildren and nieces and nephews and his fiancé of many years, Katelynn Bartlett.

Fred was a caring person who was always there to help. He was an avid church attendant and considered an unofficial deacon of Saint George Maronite Catholic Church in Dover, NH. He served in the Knights of Columbus as a 4th Degree knight, the most prestigious degree.

Visiting hours will be held at Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South Street, Somersworth, NH, on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 5-7pm. A funeral mass will be held at Saint George Maronite Catholic Church, 15 Chapel Street, Dover, NH, May 14, 2022 at 11am. Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Cemetery at a later date for family and close friends. Care for the Ouellette family has been entrusted to the Bernier Funeral Home.
