Kittery: Gail F. (Williams) Moore passed away on Jan 7, 2022 at the age of 75 at the Hospice of Southern Maine in Scarborough Maine.

Gail was born November 3 ^rd , 1946 in Portsmouth, NH to Frank and Shirley Williams of Eliot, ME. She is survived by husband of over 51 years Gordon L. Moore of Kittery, son Christopher Moore (Jill), son-in-law Darek Piolunek of Hampton, NH. sister Judith Durnin of Kittery and brothers Thomas Williams (Debbie) of Lebanon, Maine and Robert Williams (Elaine) of Kittery, Maine. Grandchildren Reiley Fox, Wes Moore, Oscar Moore and Aiden Piolunek, sister-in-law Mabelle Heck (Union CT), aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews & cousins. She was pre-deceased by daughter Susan Piolunek and parents Frank and Shirley Williams.

Gail moved to Kittery in 1963 and attended Traip Academy graduating in 1965. She attended Plymouth State University and Gorham State Teachers College graduating in 1969. Gail worked for 28 years for the Kittery School System as a kindergarten, first grade teacher at Shapleigh and Mitchell Schools retiring in 2008. In addition during the birth of her second child she took a few years off remaining at home to care for her children and run a pre-school called "My First School" before returning to the school system when both of her children were enrolled in school.

Gail treasured those days as a teacher and really loved her job. She was a light in the life of every person that she knew. She was a teacher in the classroom and in life. Her heart was full when she could make a difference, which she always quietly did.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses from York Hospital for their help, care and understanding. We would also like to thank Hospice of Southern Maine for their assistance in making Gail's passing smooth.
