George C. Skoolicas, of Barrington, NH died in the presence of loved ones on Sunday, January 21, 2024 following a period of failing health. George, born April 10, 1948 to Charles and Evangeline (née Cormier) Skoolicas grew up in Somersworth, NH before building his life in Barrington, NH with his wife Linda (née Mortensen) and their three children, Christina (Dakota), Jennifer (Brian), and Nicholas.

Always on the move, George enjoyed his work which ranged from traveling across the country with his son Nicholas and friends collecting generators to creating George's  Diesel and Drivetech Generators. He loved to travel and adventure as much as he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at the lake, beach, or driving his boat. He was a man that would drive forever if he could. He wanted to see everything life had to offer.

George joins his father and mother, as well as his brother, Charles S. Skoolicas, and his sister Carol A. Johnson who previously passed; he is survived by his wife, three children, and numerous other family and friends.

A time of Visitation will be Sunday, February the 4th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bernier-Pelkey Funeral Home, 49 South Street Somersworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St Ignatius of Loyola Parish St. Martin Church, 120 Maple Street, Somersworth followed by burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Dover.
