Somersworth - Gerard "Jerry" Joseph Gagnon, 66, passed away unexpectedly April 28, 2018, after a lengthy battle with diabetes.

The son of the late Gerard and Flora (LaPointe) Gagnon, Jerry was a life-long resident of Somersworth, NH, and upon graduating from high school attended the University of New Hampshire.  Throughout his 40-year working career, he was a dedicated employee of General Electric.

A voracious reader and avid movie buff, he had a keen love of astronomy and science, and spent many summer hours with his nieces and nephew on roller coaster rides, playing board and video games, or manning the grill for barbecues. He was kind and generous, and will always remain in our hearts.

Jerry was predeceased by his sister Estelle Marshall and nephew Pat Bailey.  He is survived by his brother Conrad "Jackie" Gagnon and wife Madeleine; sisters Therese Bailey, Constance Edmonds and husband Warren; Marlene Littlefield.  Nieces: Veronica Marshall, Rebecca Lessard and Jennifer Littlefield; Nephews: Ronald and Mark Gagnon; Bob, Bill, Jim, Matt Bailey; Brian Edmonds, Scott and Robert Marshall; Timothy Littlefield; and many great-grand nieces and nephews.

Services: A time of visitation will be held at Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South Street, Somersworth, NH, on Wednesday, May 16th from 4-6p. A Christian burial to be at Mt.
